Good Afternoon!

As of right now I’m blogging at the Coffee Bean and Tea leaf outside my gym because I have been out of the office ALL day.  Today has comprised of telling TONS of people all about ACTIVE Life.  II was working the University of Texas Kinesiology and Health Education Job Fair.  It was a blast!  I really truly enjoy talking to people, and especially when I know what I’m talking about, I could go on for hours on end!

I don’t know if I mentioned this in my last blog post but I got a haircut last friday, can you tell?

and of course had to see how it would look with my natural curl/wave.  I think I like it way more than straight!

Are you a curly or straight kind of person?

I have been trying to make sure that I am getting in all kinds of veggies this week:

some greek yog + dill + lemon juice + garlic dip for the raw veggies

papaya and grapefruit

Today’s Breakfast was amazing…PIZZA!!!  (well, pizza-ish, recipe based off of Burp N’ Slurps Carbless Pizza)

Guys, I have no words other than joy for this.

IT’s deep dish-ish, stuffed crust-ish, and savory!

*2 eggs (organic)

*sauteed mushrooms, spinach

That is all you need for the crust.  The mushrooms and spinach are the “stuffed” part, and the 2 eggs are the “crust” part.

I topped mine off with Nutrition Yeast, Daiya, and some Prego.

BAM!

Heaven in your mouth….I had a happy plate this morning.

I just got out of the shower, if you can't tell

I promised ya’ll a brand new recipe, well, brace yourselves…its finally perfected!!!

I call this, Spinach “Nice” cream minus the PB/AB

Long name, I know.  You are probably thinking, “All that hype about a brand new recipe and you present me with that?”

Don’t knock it till you try it.

Spinach “nice” cream minus the PB/AB

*1/2 frozen small avocado

*1/2 cup homemade orange juice (juicing oranges from WF, and my juicer)

*1/2 cup vanilla coconut milk

*1/2 Frozen Banana

* 2 handfuls of spinach

*Papaya and mango slices (about 1 slice of each)

I added in some gluten free granola for crunch and extra carbs (marathon training, gotta get those carbs!)

blend it all together= amazingness.

Seriously.

Try it.

you know its good if it gets the thumbs up!

It’s time to go run.  I’m going to finish getting drunk off my Strawberry Serenity Kombucha, and head to the gym!  Have a wonderful rest of the week!

🙂 haha I love your curly hair! I think it looks great! I’ve been wearing mine curly more often b/c I’m starting to get lazy too…even though wearing it straight only takes like 5 min to fix. that’s 5 min I now have to do something else!

LOVE your hair! I go either curly or straight, depending on the weather and the amount of time I want to spend getting ready.

Glad you’re enjoying the job!

I have been wanting to try her WTC pizza! Looks delicious and filling. I’m definitely a straight-hair girl – probably b/c mine is crazy frizzy/wonky!

YOUR HAIR IS WHAT I WANT! I would have to thin mine out a TON to get it to look that good though. I have mannequin hair!

Cute cut!!! I like it both ways! I wish my hair did a beautiful wave – it’s naturally straight, but not like pretty, glossy straight….more like stringy straight, lol : )

SOmetimes the wave doesn’t look so nice lol…its a hit or miss but for some reason lately its been a hit 🙂

That is so awesome that you love your job so much!!! And I love the haircut. The way she did the angle/layering is VERY cool. And I think it looks great both wavy and straight. Greek yogurt -ish dips + veggies =awesome combo! Enjoy the rest of your weekend
